Beginner knitter? Thought it was too hard, but always wanted to try? Have already tried and need a refresher? This is the class for you! Join us for a 2 hour long introduction to knitting basics taught by Jessica Millar.

*** You do not need to have attended Knitting 101 to take this class! ***

Jessica has been an avid knitter for 9 years and enjoys teaching others the skill she is passionate about. This class will take you through how to cast on, yarn over, and knit stitches, and decreasing stitches all while working on creating a dishcloth to be used in your home or gifted to a friend.

Class tickets come in two categories:

$35 – ticket price includes all materials necessary for class

$20 – ticket does not include materials and you will need to provide your own from the following list:

• 1 Skein of 100% Cotton Yarn.
  • Vita Nova sells Nifty Cotton & Nifty Cotton Splash both of which are excellent options!
  • Hobby Lobby sells Sugarwheel Cotton Solids
  • Michaels sells Lily’s Sugar ‘N Cream Cotton Yarn
• Size 8 knitting needles
  • I recommend purchasing 10″ straight needles OR 16″ or 24″ circular needles.
• Tapestry Needle
