Join me, Erin, a Neonatal and Pediatric ICU nurse of 14+ years, for a 60 minute CPR and Choking Workshop. I will cover the basics of adult and pediatric resuscitation with a larger focus on CPR for infants and children. I will also discuss choking and how choking can differ from gagging in our little ones when they are starting solids. There will be a brief overview of AED’s and their optimal use in the public setting. This is a general informative class and not meant to certify you but you will leave feeling more confident in your ability to handle an emergency should one occur.
